This program takes a look at the importance of understanding what it is you’re signing and introduces you to the impacts of signing contracts, agreements and forms without full knowledge of what they mean. You’ll learn what it takes to make an informed decision before your pen hits paper. You’ll achieve a sense of awareness about common contract issues that will help you spot and deal with them in the field or at the office. You’ll also learn about using contracts, releases and waivers to better protect you and your employer from liability.

Mary Beth Purcell
Mary Beth Purcell, Property & Liability Claims Supervisor, came to Primex3 in August of 2002 as claims consultant, handling claims in Grafton, Sullivan, Merrimack, Cheshire and Hillsborough counties. She came to Primex3 with ten years of experience adjusting property and liability claims with a commercial carrier. She holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Merrimack College and has attained her Associate is Claims (AIC) and SCLA (Senior Claim Law Associate) designation. Mary Beth recently graduated from Primex’s Emerging Leaders Program.
Monica Panait, Sr. Risk Management Consultant, has been with Primex3 since 2001. She works primarily with Primex3 school and county members to address their training, consulting and risk management needs. Monica holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a major in Marketing and has earned the Certified Risk Manager (CRM) and Certified School Risk Manager (CSRM) designations through the National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research. She has also earned the Program in General Insurance (INS) certification through the American Institute for CPCU and Insurance Institute of America. Her areas of expertise include loss mitigation, playground safety and reinsurance.
