Have you ever thought about what would happen if someone hacked into your organization's system? What data is at risk?  Do you have controls in place that would mitigate this risk as well as risks associated with fraud and embezzlement? 

This session will focus on cyber security, financial reporting, fraud and embezzlement risk, with recommendations for the detection and deterrence of such risks that are intended to be scalable to organizations of varying size and complexity.  Actual case examples will be provided, along with specific controls and strategies that could be implemented within the information technology and financial controls environments to minimize fraud-related risk.

  • Emily Antonico

    Emily Antonico, CISA

    Emily is a manager in the risk and business advisory practice at Baker Newman Noyes. She is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) with strong experience conducting SOC 1 and SOC 2 examinations, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) testing and IT general controls reviews for financial institutions. Emily serves a variety of clients, including regional banks, publicly-traded financial services institutions, privately-held companies and financial institution service bureaus.

    She earned her bachelor’s degrees in accounting and marketing, summa cum laude, from the University of Maine, Orono. In addition, Emily has achieved the Advanced SOC for Service Organizations Certificate from the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants.

  • Jessica Bouchard

    Jessica Bouchard, CPA

    Jessica is an audit senior manager at Baker Newman Noyes, specializing in delivering audit and other attestation services to not-for-profit, financial services, and commercial clients. She has been with the firm since 2009. In addition to serving clients, Jessica is also the chair of the BNN Training Committee.

    She earned a bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, in accounting from Southern New Hampshire University.
