The 2018 Fire Symposium theme will be Cracking the Code: An Offline Conversationabout Connecting with an Online Generation, presented by Tiger Schmittendorf

This game-changing conversation will offer solutions to recruitment, retention, unity, and succession in today’s ever-changing fire service.

Biography: Tiger Schmittendorf is an author, instructor, emergency manager and a frequent presenter on the subjects of  leadership, safety, command, recruitment and retention. He served the County of Erie (Buffalo NY) Department of Homeland Security & Emergency Services for over 20 years as Deputy Fire Coordinator until retiring in January-2018. He now serves as  Vice President of Strategic Services for First Arriving, a full service marketing team focusing on solutions for Public Safety.

Please save the date Thursday, November 1 from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. The Symposium will be held at the NH Fire Academy,  98 Smokey Bear Boulevard, Concord NH, 03301. Check in and breakfast will begin at 8:00 am. The event is open to New Hampshire Fire Chiefs and Chief Officers and there is no cost to attend!
