This program offers techniques that are proven to work when confronted with aggressive behavior.  Through lecture, simulation and practice, students will learn how to keep conflict to a minimum and when it occurs, manage it to resolve at the earliest possible stages of development. 

Learning Objectives Include: 

  • Identify major "triggers to aggression"
  • Differentiate between the levels of the verbal escalation continuum
  • Employ techniques as best responses and reactions to aggressive verbal and physical behavior through active practice

Topics to be covered: 

  • Discuss the major triggers to aggressive behavior
  • Techniques for dealing with aggressive behavior
  • Active practice of de-escalation techniques
  • Verbal continuums
  • Safety rules
  • Crisis continuums

This training qualifies for 2.75 SHRM PCD recertification credits.

    NH Theatre Project

    NHTP was formed in 1988 by performing artists who connected through their dedication to collaboration, education and community-building. Since its creation, NHTP has continued to use the process of theatre to create revelatory experiences for individuals and communities across New England and beyond. Actors from NHTP will be providing simulation and facilitation through their Theatre For Life program which works with schools, businesses and community organizations.

    Nicole Armaganian

    Nicole joined Primex in 2018.  She entered the Team as a Risk Management Consultant focusing on working with members to address their training, consulting, and risk management needs.  Nicole is a 22-year veteran of law enforcement. She retired from the New Hampshire State Police as a Lieutenant serving as Troop Commander of Troop G.

    Nicole holds industry designations such as Associate Risk Manager (ARM), Certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI), and Certified Workplace Mediator and Trainer in Conflict Management (CMT).  In addition, Nicole has initiated and presented at numerous programs related to leadership.

    Nicole is a graduate of UNH and is also the Concord High School Varsity Field Hockey Coach.
