This program takes a look at the importance of understanding what it is you’re signing and introduces you to the impacts of signing contracts, agreements and forms without full knowledge of what they mean. You’ll learn what it takes to make an informed decision before your pen hits paper. You’ll achieve a sense of awareness about common contract issues that will help you spot and deal with them in the field or at the office. You’ll also learn about using contracts, releases and waivers to better protect you and your employer from liability.

    Mary Beth Purcell

    Mary Beth Purcell is the Primex3 Director of Claims. She oversees the Worker’s Compensation and Property & Liability Claims Departments. She joined Primex3 in August 2002 after working for a commercial carrier for ten years. She has developed special expertise in handling public entity claims.  Mary Beth has attained her Associate in Claims and Senior Claims Law Associate designation. Mary Beth enjoys teaching part of the Supervisor’s Academy.  She is a graduate of Merrimack College.  Mary Beth is also a graduate of the Primex3 Emerging Leaders Program.

    Monica Panait

    Monica has been with Primex3 since 2001.

    She holds a leading role in the Risk Management Services department, supervising and mentoring risk management consultants and other staff in conjunction with the Director of Risk Management.

    She continues to work with Primex3 school and county members to address their training, consulting, and risk management needs. Monica holds several industry designations such as Certified Risk Manager (CRM) and Certified School Risk Manager (CSRM) through the National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research and has earned the Program in General Insurance (INS) certification through the American Institute for CPCU and Insurance Institute of America. She is a Certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI).

    Her areas of expertise include loss mitigation in conjunction with the development of a risk management plan, advising regarding complex liability issues, reinsurance negotiation and placement, training development and delivery, and playground safety.
