    Beth Deragon

    Beth is an attorney at Pastori Krans, PLLC where her practice focuses on counseling businesses in employment matters and defending businesses in employment litigation before state and federal courts. Beth counsels and trains businesses on sound employment practices and policies in an effort to avoid litigation, including providing anti-discrimination training, reviewing employment contracts (non-competes, non-solicitation and independent contractor), conducting internal investigations, drafting and reviewing employee handbooks, and counseling through all phases of the employer/employee relationship - recruitment through termination and layoffs.

    She represents employers in NH administrative agencies including NH Commission for Human Rights (discrimination, harassment and retaliation defense), NH Department of Labor (wage and hour defense and audit hearing defense) and NH Employment Security (represents employers appealing or defending unemployment compensation claims). As a litigator representing employees and employers for over 15 years in state and federal courts and administrative agencies in New Hampshire and Massachusetts, Beth has firsthand experience with the complexities and difficult obstacles presented in employment disputes. In addition, Beth has been conducting mediations on a voluntary basis for the New Hampshire Commission for Human Rights for the past 5 years. Beth’s objective for the mediation is to give the parties a meaningful process that is essential to resolving the dispute and a workable resolution thereby avoiding the expense and turmoil of litigation, thereby allowing the parties to move forward.

    Beth also provides risk management to licensed professional and defends licensees before their licensing boards (e.g., NH Board of Medicine, NH Board of Mental Health Practice).
