When asked to identify one major obstacle to their professional success many managers respond with. “I lack confidence.”
It’s true. Many of us move into leadership roles asking ourselves lots of questions. “Can I really do this job?” “Am I right for it.” “How will I deal with the tough times that I’m sure will come.” “How do I not let my boss down.” “Will I be seen as an imposter who should not have gotten the job.”
This program looks at the issue of leadership confidence from different angles, all designed to identify reasons why we lack confidence and the actions we can take to enhance our confidence capacity.
Focal points include:
- Behavioral implications of confidence.
- “Belief” as the foundation for confidence.
- The power of the story you tell yourself and/or that has been told to you.
- The vital importance of taking the first step in your confidence journey.
- Building a meaningful support system.
- Understanding that confidence builds confidence.
You’ll leave this program with the information, strategies and encouragement to make a real difference in the level of your confidence.
