Burnout is normal. When we do too much, for too long, our brain sends us signals to remind us that over exerting, physically or emotionally, isn’t sustainable. The patterns of our lives that produce burnout, however, can be corrected. Presented by best-selling author of Hijacked by Your Brain Jon Wortmann, this workshop teaches the awareness, strategies, and intervention you can use to prevent and treat burnout. You may be burned out. It’s not the end of the story. All of us can feel better through times of intense effort and stress when we know the options that give us control of our brains, work, and lives.
Participants will leave able to:
- Recognize and assess burnout in themselves and others
- Implement strategies for preventing burnout
- Develop interventions that restore energy when facing burnout
