Confined Space Entry 

Confined space entry is dangerous since many of the hazards associated with confined spaces are difficult to detect. This program is designed to teach employees the proper safety procedures and equipment needed when entering a confined space.  Emphasis will be placed on identifying confined spaces and highlighting the appropriate sequence of events needed to safely enter these dangerous areas. Although the program touches upon it, this is not a class in confined space rescue techniques. 

Trench/Excavation Training 

This session will highlight the importance of using appropriate trench protection techniques, and will offer guidelines which can be used to determine the need for using them.  The program is especially helpful for departments doing quick "in and out" repair work.  This is not designed nor intended to be instruction in specific trench protection equipment. 

Dig Safe® will offer a brief presentation of their services at this training. 

Dig Safe is a not-for-profit clearinghouse that notifies participating utility companies of your plans to dig. In turn, these utilities (or their contract locating companies) respond to mark out the location of their underground facilities. Dig Safe is a free service, funded entirely by its member utility companies.

    Bob Barry, Risk Management Consultant, joined Primex3 in 2011 as an Education and Training Consultant focusing on the Law Enforcement and Corrections membership of the Primex3 pools. Prior to joining the Primex3 team, Bob was the Police Chief for the City of Concord, a position that he held for over four years. Bob brings a total of more than twenty-five years of law enforcement experience to Primex3. 

    In his current role as a Risk Management Consultant, Bob continues to focus on providing consulting services to the Law Enforcement community along with Risk Management and training services to all Primex3 members. Bob is the assigned Risk Management Consultant for all County Members as well as for municipalities in Belknap and Sullivan Counties.
