This pre-recorded webinar addresses the health and safety aspects of plowing snow. From a lack of pre-planning the route to not enough sleep, participants will examine the factors that lead to injuries, and discuss ways to prevent them.

  • Identify the leading injury causes and associated control measures for plow operators
  • Recognize the importance, from a worker safety standpoint, of pre-planning the plow route
  • Identify how sleep and dietary factors can affect the health and safety of plow operators
  • Acknowledge the public relations aspects of plowing and snow removal
