Governments Are for Everyone: A review of Title II ADA Guidance from the US Department of Justice

Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act requires equal treatment for people with disabilities for all programs, services or activities of local governments. This session will provide an overview of the US Department of Justice guidance for local governments under Title II of the ADA to ensure that public officials are aware of their obligations under the law and how to ensure citizens with disabilities are able to fully participate in civic life.  Participants will leave with a better understanding of what actions are required in their organization to ensure compliance.

    David Bullock

    David Bullock currently serves as the Claims and Coverage Consultant at Primex3. David is responsible for handling property and liability claims, providing human resource guidance for members and responding to coverage inquires. David has developed a specialized expertise in employment related claims. David recently received his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter designation and his SHRM Certified Professional designation. David previously worked as an Anti-Discrimination Investigator for the New Hampshire Commission for Human Rights, the state agency charged with enforcing the state civil rights law in employment, housing, and public accommodations. David graduated from Ohio University receiving a Bachelor of Arts in English and History and from the University of New Hampshire receiving a Master’s Degree in Public Administration.
